Vampire Counts!

Here are some models I've been working on for the updated Vampire Counts army for Warhammer Fantasy.

Skeletons with full command.

The lovely Varghulf, perched and ready to pounce.

Vlad [still a work in progress, basically just need to finish the skin]

Black Knight conversion, waiting to be painted.

Love the skeletons, and the conversion of the black knight is similar to an idea i had, from the looks of things its a grave guard kit mixed with an empire knightly orders one, it looks really cool, i was gonna use bretonian nights but after seeing that i may change my mind :)

I love the skeletons. I am currently painting up a 4000 point VC army which is skeleton heavy. I base coated with Khemri brown and washed with ogryn flesh to create some 'dusty' looking skeletons and seeing yours makes me wish I had gone for a colder look!

The Black Knight is the same process I have used although I used the tomb kings cavalry box instead of the empire knights. The main purpose behind this is that the mounts are listed as 'skeletal steeds'and i#m very picky about representation.

I plan to expand with a barded version using the skeleton horses, empire knights and the graveguard sets when I have had more practice.
